Today myself and three others from Vermont made the four-hour trip into the mountains. On a public bus. In two hours. We were border-line flying. The kids were at school when we arrived but when they got back.....dang! Excitement, book bags and small ninos; all in the air. It was incredible to say the least.
I had almost forgotten how easily the kids here are to entertain. No need for flip-phones or x-box 360's, just learn to say landa! (you're it) and you're set for hours. I also almost forgot how dang mean some of these kids are, too. We were wrestling earlier today and apparently kicking in the privates is completely legall, as well as encouraged when faced with adversity. Some would call it a "cheap shot", they call it "te gane" (I win). Needless to say a time-out was in order after that one. (for myself of course)
Other than than my little incedent, things have been going very well. I have been praying and asking for direction and clarity for my life, and right now, in this place I feel as though its right where I need to be. As far as the future goes, who knows. But for now, I am soaking it all in.
